What are we looking for?

With all these moving parts we are in need for a Senior IT production engineer. You’ll be part of a department of 14 IT professionals. DaklaPack has gained a position on the market as a leader and a successful IT team has made a huge contribution to that success. We are looking for a driven professional who really sinks his/her teeth into a project and makes sure the job gets done. A professional who only sees challenges, not problems and who does not drop their pen each day at the same time but is flexible enough to stick around to reach the goals of that day. What will you do?

In this role you will provide technical support to our operations team and development team. You will be responsible for proper set-up and operations of our production platform and related hardware such as scanners; relays and sensors. You will provide valuable feedback to our development team and constantly push to optimize the efficiency of our software and hardware. When we bring in new projects you will be able to set-up various web portals; configure our production software; deploy software (based on Azure cloud) when needed and ensure the required hardware is working as expected. I addition you keep a close eye on deadlines and ensure all deliverables are in place on time.

Further your tasks include:

• Generate reports and keeping track of the uptime and availability of our software
• Configuring new accounts with shipping providers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.
• Design network based infrastructure
